On Saturday, May 1, longtime Democratic strategist took to CNN to say a few things about “wokeness” and its risks to Democrats. He complained about “politics of the faculty lounge,” and he said that Democrats’ adherence to “wokeness” cost them in the 2020 midterms.

He is absolutely right, and the Democrats are in serious trouble if they think they can continue blathering on about things that ordinary people don’t care about, including so-called “gender identity.”

I was glad to hear him speaking out, so I went on Twitter and asked him to get in touch with me. Here is what I had to say:

I hope he responds. This is a conversation that our nation desperately needs to have.
