YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LOCKED

August 5, 2021

On August 4, I was just going about my day, minding my own business and doing the things that get ordinary thinking people into heaps of trouble, such as saying things like “human beings aren’t clownfish” and whatnot.

I came home from running errands to learn that I had been locked out of my Twitter account for violating its rules.

I had no way of knowing exactly what I had done to violate the rules, but I assumed it probably had something to do with referring to Laurel Hubbard as a man, something I have no problem doing.

Hubbard is, of course, a man. He was born Gavin. He is featured here, with his parents, before going on hormones to suppress his testosterone levels, which he did, presumably in order to comply with the International Olympic Committee’s rules permitting men to compete in women’s sports. Hubbard competed in the women’s weigh-lifting category in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

At first, I wasn’t terribly worried about the 12-hour lock-out. Getting a social media ban is practically a rite of passage for women (and some men) who speak openly about our society’s vile and pathetic insistence on allowing men to colonize women’s spaces, such as washrooms, locker rooms, sports, prisons, domestic violence shelters, dormitories, and the like. I looked forward to waking up the next day and seeing what hoops Twitter was going to make me jump through in order to unlock the account.

However, this morning, when I attempted to unlock the account, I was told that in order to do so, I would need to first delete the offending tweet. My alternative was to appeal.

I did submit an appeal, and then immediately received this message:

In that tweet, I was quote-tweeting this video of Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull on Talk Radio, addressing the Hubbard situation.

I appear to have two options: (1) stay off Twitter, or (2) cancel the appeal and delete the content.

For now, I’ll stick with the appeal and wait to see what Twitter has to say. I am not optimistic, and I suspect that I will eventually be required to delete the content if I want to return to Twitter and engage with the many people out there who have managed to retain their sanity in the face of relentless pressure to conform to the lie that human beings can change sex.

In the mean time, I’m with these women. #NoThankYou

UPDATE: THE ACCOUNT WAS UNBLOCKED ON AUGUST 5, 2021.

UPDATE: I WAS PUT IN TWITTER TIME-OUT AGAIN. I WAS OFF TWITTER FOR A WHILE, AND LOGGED IN AT ABOUT 8:45 am ET ON SUNDAY AUGUST 8, ONLY TO FIND THIS:
